The 5th Annual BNYP Garage Sale Fundraiser for Autism Camp surpassed our expectations this year. In the end, we raised $4500, by far the most we’ve ever raised. That total is the equivalent of sending 18-20 kids to camp for free – pretty outstanding.
The check will be presented to the Autism Society of McLean County‘s board on Thursday, May 1st.
The garage sale fundraiser was the Kiwanis One Day event for our club. For more information about Kiwanis One Day, click here. Click here for more information about the garage sale.
Pictures from the garage sale are up on our Flickr site.
Many thanks to the Autism Society of McLean County, SugarOak Management Services, District 87, McLean County News Bulletin, GLT, The Pantagraph, The Kiwanis Club of Farmer City, to everyone that donated items for the garage sale, and last, but not least, all of the fantastic volunteers from our club, the COUNTRY Financial Volunteer Network, family members, and friends that helped make this year’s garage sale a success!
