Bloomington Kiwanis Mother’s Day Flower Sale

Who: Bloomington Kiwanis with proceeds supporting Camp Limberlost

What:  The flowers are a wide selection of annuals in flats, pots and hanging pots. Large planted pots and lovely hanging baskets, as well. A popular feature of the Mother’s Day Flower Sale are the Master Gardeners, local experts to help advise shoppers and to share tips on how to plant pots, how to pick the right plant for light and soil conditions, and more. Potted and hanging plants, flats of annuals, vegetables and herbs provided by Wendell Niepagen Greenhouses

What: Bloomington Kiwanis Pancake Days at Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts

When: Saturday and Sunday, Feb 20 and 21 from  7am – 12:30pm

Where: Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts, 600 N East St, Bloomington, IL 61701

More Info: Tickets are in advance $6/adults and $3 for children 5-12 years old, children under 5 are free. At the door adults are $7.00. Stuart Brown is a medical doctor, psychiatrist, clinical researcher and the Founder of the National Institute for Play. He speaks regularly to Fortune 500 companies and groups across the country on the importance of play in our lives. The producer of a three-part PBS series, The Promise of Play, he has also appeared on NPR and was featured in a cover story in The New York Times Magazine.
