On the January date, we are trying something new – we will help build palates of food. This will be dirtier and more labor-intensive than usual. The other dates we will be doing what we normally do – sorting/packaging food. You will need to fill out a Volunteer Agreement when you arrive if it is your first time. Please sign up at least 2 days before the event: http://doodle.com/
Come help sort food that will be distributed by Clare House for the holidays. If you are participating, it is important that you sign up because your name will need to be provided to the event organizer prior to the date that you volunteer. Please sign up by the Thursday before each work date: http://doodle.com/
On the first day of giving, Gingerbread House gave to me … a way to give, easy as can be!
The Gingerbread House is in the giving spirit and Bloomington-Normal Young Professionals Kiwanis will benefit! On Tuesday, Nov. 4, the toy store will donate 10% of sales for the day to our organization.
How can you help? Simply stop by the Gingerbread House (603 South Hannah Street, Bloomington) on Nov. 4 and pick up a few selections from your holiday shopping list. 10% of the total sales that day comes to us!
That’s it. Simple and elegant, no coupons, no letting them know the purchase is for our group. Check off a to-do, get some great quality toys, and help support our organization!
For more information about the Gingerbread House Toy Store and the 12 Days of Giving program, check out their website at www.gingerbreadhousetoys.
